**About the role**

This is a pivotal role within the organisation which ensures that our training courses run seamlessly. Keeping the learner at the heart of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring our venues, our training team and our learners have all the resources required to deliver high quality and inclusive training. You will be responsible for course scheduling ensuring that the organisation meets its course delivery aims and objectives, guaranteeing diversity and inclusion, monitoring course viability and providing effective promotion of individual courses.

This role incorporates sourcing new venues around the UK which meet the requirements of the organisation and will require an amount of travel periodically throughout the year. For this reason, a valid driver’s licence is essential to this role.

**Main duties**_**&**_ **responsibilities**
- To oversee the resources needed for each course to ensure that they are present, up-to-date, consistent, and relevant.
- To oversee the accuracy of the content and course set up in the Virtual Classroom, Course Pages (SharePoint) and CRM feeding through into the website.
- Liaise with venues to ensure they are correctly equipped and that they are adhering to accepted health and safety practices to deliver our training, including site visits where necessary.
- To source venues to host our face to face training and events.
- Liaise with course facilitators to address any issues around course resources and materials, keeping within the protocols of GDPR, EDI and the company ethos.
- To organise and oversee course and event agendas, ensuring effective communication with external providers such as trainers, caterers and guest speakers.
- Responsible for ensuring that all course materials are inclusive and adhere to our EDI policy.
- Communicate with course facilitators if there are any changes to resources and manage change.
- To review current processes around course set up, learner communication and resource management to ensure they are best practice, implementing change where appropriate.
- To ensure that all courses are subscribed to the course minimum, and notify the appropriate persons if a course appears unviable.
- To monitor course waiting lists and course leads to ensure they are kept up to date and accurate.
- To take the lead on course and event scheduling.
- Promote and project the visions and values of the business.
- To promote equality and inclusion.
- Any other duties which are required by the company reasonable to this role.

**Person specification**

You will be a meticulous planner and organiser, forward thinking and pro-active at all times, demonstrating a can-do and flexible attitude to your work. You will need to be able to prioritise effectively and thrive in a high paced working environment which encourages autonomy and responsibility. As an experienced multi-tasker you will be able to respond to completing a broad scope of work interchangeably, whilst maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

You will need to be able to demonstration the ability to create and promote a work environment which supports openness, inclusion, transparency and integrity throughout the organisation; where teamwork is encouraged, innovation is stimulated and where every individual’s potential is maximised.

- To have been awarded Foundation Course Certificate from LWDW Training.
- Experience in Training, Education and/or Adult Education sector.
- To share the values of Living Well Dying Well.
