**Role Overview**:
In this role, the Setter will be required to set roll-forming production lines efficiently and safely, whilst coaching and mentoring other members of the team in setting. Experience of setting/operating a roll forming line is essential for this role.

**Duties**:

- To set roll-forming production lines efficiently, safely and to the required standard.
- Set pre pierce tools in power presses and knowledge of both mechanical and Servo roll feeds.
- Coach and mentor other members of staff in setting roll forming mills.
- Work to targets and work with the team to achieve the ensure a high efficiency level.
- Work with the team to reduce scrap levels and keep these to a minimum.
- To ensure all paperwork is filled in correctly and up to date.
- To advise of any improvements or health and safety issues within the production area.
- Any other duties deemed suitable by your line manager and required by the business.
- Follow all Health and Safety rules as laid down by Protektor Group UK Limited.

**Area of responsibility**:

- You attend your place of work in good time to start your working day.
- You fulfil the requirements of your Manager and Directors regarding the duties needed.
- The work that you undertake is of a high standard with a good attention to detail.
- You must be polite and helpful to any visitors to the Company premises, ensuring that a good impression is given of Protektor Group UK Limited and its staff.
- Ensure that when visiting sites, a level of professionalism is maintained.
- The ability to work as part of a team to achieve the aims of the Company.
- Full understanding of Company and Health & Safety policies.

**Qualifications / Training**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a roll forming setter/operator.
- Experience in setting pre pierce tools in power presses and knowledge of both mechanical and Servo roll feeds.
- Previous supervisor / team leader experience would be advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
