In this newly created BI Analyst role, you will be responsible for structuring and conducting data analysis to support GAMAs commercial objectives, with evidence-based insight. Working closely with the Commercial team you'll be looking after everything Datarelated including reporting, visualisations, requirements, and project delivery. Support GAMA’s strategy for Business Intelligence, by creating a version of the truth about GAMA’s competitive performance, customers, and our markets.

The role is based out of GAMA HQ, HemelHempstead, Herts or out of our Fellows Research Centre, Halifax along with hybrid working.

**What will you get involved in?**
- Bring together dispersed market data sets into consistent documents that are robust and aligned with the GAMA definitions of market, product categories, distribution channels, and consumer groups
- Compile, reconcile and validate data from multiple internal and external sources
- Leverage multiple data sources to provide insight, identify trends and support decision making
- Regularly work with large raw data sets from multiple sources to answer information requests of varying complexity
- Respond with useful commentary/insight/summary/recommendations where appropriate.
- Bring complex data sets to life in a simple manner by making use of data visualisation tools
- Identify and realise opportunities for systems and reporting synergy across GAMA departments
- Work with process development and IT teams to extend/improve our existing analytics and reporting technology tools (e.g PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView)
- Help drive continuous improvement in the quantity and quality of commercial and non-commercial data available to the GAMA team
- Working with Head of BI, Marketing Managers, Category Directors, and Sales Directors to implement new reporting solutions and integrate data and insights into commercial processes, providing evidence-based insights
- Working with all departments to advise on best methodologies/approaches for measuring and validating data
- Collaborating closely with all departments to become a trusted partner for data analysis and evidence-based insights
- Effectively engage with stakeholders to deliver plans on time

**What will you need to be successful?**
- Experience working in data analytics e.g., building complex data projects ideally from within the medical devices or healthcare sector
- Demonstrated track record of tracking and overseeing external data collation and analysis to drive management decision making
- Analytics: data reconciliation, triangulation, data modelling, data indexing, growth driver’s analysis - Analytics and data modelling tools: 'R’ or 'Python’
- Data visualization/Reporting Tools: SQL, Tableau, Power BI (or similar) or Visual Basic
- Appreciation of the NHS, healthcare, medical and regulatory environment is essential, ideally in both capital and consumable products
