**CEM - Contractors Engineering Manager**

Excellent opportunity to work for a Rail consultancy as the CEM for the Network Rail projects based out of the Derby office.

**Location**:Derby

**Salary**:£75,000 - £80,000 basic + Package

Must been signed off by Network Rail as a CEM

**Role**:
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a Rail infrastructure consultancy, operating across the UK but with their midlands division looking for a CEM.

These projects are a mix of client-based projects directly with Network rail and as a Tier 2 to the larger main contractors carrying out complete packages of works. The project work is based around Rail systems and Digital infrastructure, but you don't needany experience in those fields.

Your role is reporting in to the Head of Quality, Assurance & Support, accountable for the quality assurance across of a portfolio of projects including Testing, Hardware, and Deployment. Being the primary client-facing engineering representative on projects,liaising with a range of external client and third-party stakeholders.

Day to day duties will vary but could include:

- Implementing efficient processes and controls to manage system safety, security, verification and validation (V&V), and system assurance
- Ensuring production of System-level specifications across disciplines
- Ensuring compliance to procedures, relevant regulations, and relevant applicable standards
- Shaping the standardisation of design collateral, and develop appropriate design criteria
- Project risk management/mitigation and technical change control, coordinating the quality of sub-systems deliverables as per project Quality Management plan principles
- Review and approval (wherever applicable) of deliverables, acting as project technical control
- Acting as the Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) on relevant client projects

This role is a hybrid role working 2 - 3 days a week based in derby and 2 - 3 days a week based in the office with the projects team. You do need to have IRSE valid licence to be considered for this position.

**Required Experience**:

- You need to be signed off as a CEM by Network Rail to be able to undertake this position.
