**The Role**:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for the right individual to join our Business Support Services Department. Davis Grant are a highly successful accountancy practice based in Ilford, East London who have recently merged with Gravita and are now part of the Gravita Group, a top 30 Accountancy practice. Our client base is hugely varied and includes clients in sectors from tech start-ups, property investment companies, large group companies and non-listed Plcs.
- Onboarding new clients to the Practice
- Ensuring practice management is fully updated with changes
- Client portal document management
- Supporting clients with secure Portal registration, document loading, approval, and management
- IT coordinator with external systems and software used by the Practice
- Business development team
- Internal systems improvement and development e.g. CRM system
- Assisting Partners and team on various admin tasks
- Undertaking special projects and supporting other departments
- Working as part of the admin team and supporting where necessary
- Various client communications - written and oral

**Responsibilities**
***:

- Part of business development team being first point of contact for new enquiries, obtaining key information, booking appointments, and preparing proposals
- Dealing with the onboarding experience for new clients, including ensuring the firm have received all necessary information from the client and third parties
- Improving systems and processes and management of our document management system, Virtual Cabinet for use by all team members.
- Raising fee invoices, including matching against time spent
- Part of the administration team and therefore expected to assist with personal tax administration and during our self-assessment tax season and as the need arises.
- Various other ad hoc assignments as the need arises

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years experience working in professional administration departments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptionally competent with various IT software and can demonstrate recently learning and adapting to new software.
- Ability to create new systems and then follow those systems consistently.
- Ability to identify efficiency improvements to existing systems and implement consequent changes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge
- Self-motivated and a desire to improve systems within the business.
