**Overview**
As the Administrator within the team, your role will consist of a mixture of HR and Recruitment admin duties. As an integral part of the HR team, you will support the team by ensuring designated tasks and administrative duties are completed. Full training will be provided, and you’ll develop your skills by supporting queries from all departments within the company. You should be able to adapt quickly and be a confident and enthusiastic team player. This is a hybrid role, as we require you to work from the Glasgow studio 1-2 days per week.
- The main responsibilities will include:_
**HR Administration**
- Responsible for all HR-related documentation such as reference requests, housing references, probation confirmations
- Manage the HR database, keeping all employee records up to date - processing career, pay and personal changes and leavers, etc
- Responding to queries and escalating more complex requests within the HR mailbox
- Monitor employees who are based on visa’s ensuring they are legally entitled to live and work in the United Kingdom, ensuring that correct/ updated documentation is supplied and escalating any concerns
- Updating and maintaining department files and spreadsheets
- Supporting the wider HR team in the development and review of procedures, processes and policies
**Recruitment and Onboarding**
- Ensuring a positive onboarding experience is given to our new staff members
- Create employee records as required, always ensuring accurate inputting of employee data
- Handle new starter documentation ensuring that all documentation received has been completed fully for processing
- Trigger and manage our required background checks for all new starters

- Discretion with an ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- Numerate, able to manipulate, analyse and present data to provide meaningful management information
- Able to work flexibly on both routine and more complex tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to listen carefully and respond appropriately
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment, capable to liaise and communicate with colleagues at all levels
- Previous administrative experience is advantageous
