Part Time Head of Finance

My client is the charity sector is recruiting for a Part time Head of Finance. Under the guidance of the experienced CFO it will be responsibility to provide sound leadership and direction for the charities financial management, including supporting the development of strategy, long-term financial forecasts, reviewing infrastructure and business modelling as part of the Management Team.

Duties will include:

- Provide professional advice and support to SLT on all aspects of Finance and business management.
- Responsible for financial oversight for all activity to ensure accurate accounting, reporting and financial controls across the charity are maintained and improved.
- Prepare annual budgets and multi-year forecasts and ensure these are aligned to strategic plans, including agreement of underlying assumptions.
- Establish, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all financial systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Statement of Recommended Practices (SORP) of the Charities Commission, review and refine as necessary.
- Ensure financial and other reporting systems provide a strong internal control environment and satisfy the requirements of charity accounting and regulatory authorities.
- Responsible for Financial Reporting and Monitoring including production of monthly & quarterly management accounts; Cashflow reports, Annual Statutory Accounts & capital asset spend reports; and where required to present financial information to SLT, budget holders and Trustees.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £50,000.00-£52,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
