**Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide support and mentorship to young people, helping them navigate challenges and develop essential life skills.
- Educate youth on various topics, including personal development, social skills, and educational opportunities.
- Implement programmes and activities that promote positive behaviour and engagement among participants.
- Assist in the development of individualised plans for youth with special educational needs, ensuring tailored support is provided.
- Collaborate with parents, schools, and community organisations to create a supportive network for the youth.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress of the young people under your care.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in youth work.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in youth work or a related field is highly desirable.
- A background in mentoring or education, particularly with children or adolescents, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with special education practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with young people from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports the growth of all individuals.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £17,235.90-£34,408.01 per year

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
