Housing Management Assistant

We have a temporary part time opportunity expected to last until the end of May 22. You will be required to work 22.5 hours per week and provide intensive housing management to individuals living in supported housing.
Main responsibilities
- Provide Housing management support within the Dover and Folkestone Cluster supporting team members with regular housing management tasks and covering other clusters as required.
- To establish positive working relationships with clients and to work closely with Homeless & Prevention Coaches, providing practical housing management.
- To ensure that the accommodation is maintained to a good standard, and that health and safety and fire regulations/policies are adhered to.
- To report breakages/damage/wear and tear promptly, carrying out cleaning of voids, making arrangements for renewals and replacement of equipment as necessary, regular liaison with Housing Associations etc., Health & Safety inspections (inc. fire drillsand inspections), and risk assessments.
- To carry out regular property checks, ensuring that the environments are safe and welcoming.
- To ensure that all properties meet the contractual agreements with landlords and housing associations.
- To ensure safeguarding concerns are recognised and reported.
- To ensure that vacant rooms are clean and in good repair within a timely manner.
- To maintain databases and provide reports as required.
- To issue, complete and explain tenancy and licence agreements and manage the review, renewal and termination of licences/tenancies as appropriate.
It is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
