Technical Design Co-ordinator £26500 + Bonus

We are recruiting for a Technical Design Co-ordinator for our clients Design Team based in Bedford.

This is a hybrid role allowing you to work from home 2 days per week (once trained sufficiently to do so) the remaining 3 days will be in the office.

Once you are conversant with our products and design software, the role may expand to develop more complex design solutions.

**Main Tasks**:

- Technical / Design assistance to the Building Drainage Division.
- Ensure correct applicable procedures are followed.
- Customer consultation - Technical
- Layouts, specification and materials advice.
- Entering data accurately from enquiries received into the CRM system leading to formal specification proposals as required.
- Value engineering, estimating and costing as applicable.
- Create and review technical drawing contracts (training provided).

**Knowledge & Skills**
Excel, Word, Power Point, CRM, AutoCAD (not essential but desirable), Inventor skills - training can be provided.
Customer focused with an excellent telephone manner.

- Capacity to deal with multiple enquiries and delegate as required, demonstrating time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to respond quickly to issues but maintain overall work control.
- Good communication skills - verbal and written.

Full training in company wide systems and procedures will be given, and personal development will be actively encouraged.

Working hours are 34.5hours per week, Monday to Friday. Offering a competitive salary with 25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays. We offer a Company Pension Scheme and Private Healthcare is available after a qualifying period.
This position will re-locate to our main site in Shefford once redevelopment is complete.
