About the role
We are seeking a Global Mobility Specialist to join our existing UK based Mobility Practise of Expertise team.
This role is part of our Head Office and reports into our Global Mobility Business Partner.
This a broad role and you'll be responsible delivering the pre-assignment and end of assignment support for global and UK domestic assignments or permanent moves. This includes pre-assignment planning, cost estimation, document generation, repatriation planning, supplier initiations and supplier management. Our globally mobile colleagues have a home and host mobility managers for on the ground support but co-ordination and policy clarification is often required through the POE team. Additionally you may be required to support with UK immigration activities. A large part of the role is effective partnering with key stakeholders such as home/host people teams, line managers, mobility colleagues, payroll teams and external partners.
A sound knowledge and experience of working in mobility is desirable but not essential.

You will be responsible for
General:
- Managing relationships with suppliers, e.g. immigration, relocation, car hire, expense management, to ensure great service delivery;
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as home/host people teams, line managers, mobility colleagues, payroll teams, tax teams and finance teams to deliver a great assignment experience;
- Keeping documentation up to date & re-writing guidance/process flows as required;
- Delivery of core annual processes, such as per diem review, cola review, pay review implementation and auditing of key data;
- Accountability for maintenance of our assignment management platform and upskilling of Mobility and business colleagues on the use of this; this
- Providing reporting for key stakeholders including Mobility Lead, People Directors etc.;
- Processing mobility invoices and billing including timely re-charging of costs to business cost centres;
- Resolving Finance cost centre and recharge queries;
- Supporting compliance and risk management for short term business travellers;
- Supporting Mobility Team Projects;
Pre-assignment/end of assignment:
- Advising the business on policy and best practice for international assignments, Domestic relocations and international transfers/hires.
- Preparing cost projections for business/HR approval for assignments and relocations;
- Initiating services with suppliers necessary to facilitate the international moves;
- Working with our immigration consultants to obtain legal right to work for colleagues on assignment or relocating

You will need
**Essential**:

**Preferable**:
- Detailed knowledge of one of the following: expatriate tax, expatriate payroll, immigration, people team, compliance, risk management
- Knowledge of Global Mobility and UK Mobility policies
- Understanding of expat compensation packages e.g. how cost of living allowances are calculated, per diems etc.
- Experience of using assignment management platforms
