ID Centre Administrator

Birmingham Airport is the UK’s seventh largest with 30 airlines serving over 120 destinations direct and onwards to over 400. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic 13m customers a year flew in and out of BHX.

**Summary of the Role**
As an ID Centre Administrator, you will report to the ID Centre Manager and be required to perform
the daily duties within the ID Centre, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring you
demonstrate the company brand values.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Have knowledge and understanding of ID computerised systems

phone.
- Proof reading and authorising of submitted documentation to ensure all details are accurate

and able to be processed for ID issue
- Maintaining database and filing system
- Produce and issue airport security identity and vehicle passes using an in house visitor pass

computerised system in accordance with approved procedures.
- Using computerised systems, draft and type correspondence, reports and other material of a confidential nature in the control of passes and provide a general administrative role

supporting the department.
- Produce and issue staff car park passes using an approved NCP computerised system.

Maintain and update details as necessary.
- Input accurate and confidential computerised records following the requirements of GDPR
- Maintain all systems in efficient order and report any faults or breakdowns via the airport fault

reporting system
- Responsible for taking cash/cheques and issuing receipts to specific customers as required

- To develop and enhance relationships with relevant partners to generate awareness and

drive improvements in Security training, standards and compliance.

Intelligent and Confident.

**Safety**
- To ensure all Health & Safety responsibilities are discharged and to maintain compliance with best practice and legal requirements for Fire Safety.
- To undertake and successfully complete all training requirements in order to meet Company Health and Safety standards and Department for Transport standards.

**Flexible Approach**
- To be prepared, when necessary, to change days and hours of work to accommodate training needs
- To support the Central Search Area (CSA) operation during identified peaks.
- To carry out such other duties commensurate with the grading of the post, which may be determined from time to time.

** Please note there are two roles available a full time role and a part time fixed term role**
