We are seeking an operationally focused, hands-on HR Manager to deliver a fully rounded HR service to our super friendly and dedicated UK based team. **HR Manager Responsibilities**:
This is a varied role that will see you working within the global HR team to help shape our wider HR plans for the future, whilst also working hands-on to ensure we hire, develop and retain the very best talent
You'll work closely with our management teams to coach and embed great people practices, helping us strive for continuous improvement across the people function and ensuring that excellence in recruitment, engagement and employee experience stays top of the agenda. You will manage the HRIS and all HR administration (including payroll and benefits) for the UK and EU and lead all local employee relations activity.
As we continue to grow, your role will see you supporting our work to promote D,E,I & B across the business and the communities within which we operate, and working with our Recruitment Lead to make sure that our talent network continues to develop.
**HR Manager Requirements**:
Experience gained at HRM or HRBP level within a growing SME business, preferably from within the pharma/scientific sector (although not essential)
To be CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum) or qualified by demonstrable experience
Sound MS Office skills; experience working with, and ideally implementing, HRIS systems
Good knowledge of contemporary HR/people practices, sound knowledge of UK employment law. German employment law/practice knowledge would be a distinct advantage
A great eye for detail and an accurate approach to your work
The ability to coach and challenge effectively and appropriately, acting as consultant and trusted advisor to managers and leaders
To be committed to continuously developing an excellent employee experience
Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships with key stakeholders
