An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at FirstMortgage as a Full Time Mortgage & Protection Advisor in the Stockport area.

We work in partnership with Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) which are a nationally recognized mortgage broker Partnership, winners of over 200 awards in the past 5 years and continually growing.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Mortgage an Protection Advisor to join our dynamic, small and growing team here in the Stockport Office. In this role, you will provide expert guidance to clients seeking mortgage and protection solutions, helping them navigate the complexities of the homebuying and remortgage process. Your ability to assess client needs, cross sell financial products and offer tailored financial advice will be essential in building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial situations to determine suitable mortgage and protection recommendation.
- Provide clear and comprehensive information regarding various mortgage products and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulations, and lending criteria.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing communication throughout the mortgage process.
- Actively work the pipeline of clients and go the extra mile to ensure that the client is able to move into their new home as quickly as possible.
- Use initiate to ensure that you are busy, organized and delivering 5 star service at every point of the customers journey
- Collaborate with lenders, solicitors, and other professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.

**The Role**

This role is to provide and identify customer mortgage requirements and associated protection needs. In addition to giving advice on appropriate mortgage products, the mortgage adviser also advises on related protection products including life assurance, critical illness, income protection and buildings and contents insurance as well as referrals to solicitors.

We have a superb infrastructure in place to provide 5 star service to clients, including excellent administration and back office support. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets by providing professional and quality advice from the whole of market, have the pace required to convert leads ensuring no stone is unturned, whilst maintaining our company policy of treating customers fairly and delivering successful outcomes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00 base salary with a potential to earn as a package £100,000.00 per year overall.
