**Job Description - Junior/Senior Florist - (3-4 days a week, must include a Saturday, we are closed Sun/Mon)**

**Salary - Hourly rate - TBC**

**Working Hours - 8.30am - 4.30pm**

A part time, highly motivated, talented florist. You will be an integral part of the business, based at our Altrincham shop, working as part of our small, but lovely team.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Daily Responsibilities
- Taking daily online and phone orders for bouquet collections and deliveries.
- Liaising with the delivery driver, letting them know how many deliveries each day and when orders are ready.
- Being confident and competent at making up bouquets for both orders and customers, quickly, in our informal, trademark style
- Understanding the brand “look” of informal, seasonal, relaxed arrangements, containing unusual flowers and being able to recreate this style.
- Conditioning flower deliveries and arranging beautifully on the stand.
- Receiving deliveries of dried flowers pots and plants and pricing, arranging and styling these items around the shop.
- Ensuring everything is kept neat and tidy and fully stocked, making sure the shop both inside and outside looks lovely, swept, clean and immaculate.
- Putting out the outside display every morning and putting it away at night.
- General visual merchandising of the shop.
- Watering/pruning and taking care of plants.
- Being a friendly, easy to get on with person, we are a small team so must all gel well together
- Make a good cup of tea

Other key responsibilities/opportunities:

- You will, at times be left alone in the shop, if the manager goes out/is needed elsewhere/is sick, you must be comfortable with this and be confident to make bouquets and serve customers alone.
- As a florist, you will be expected to work longer hours over our peak periods and may be asked to do so (the lead up to Christmas, Mother’s Day week and weekend, the lead up to Valentine's Day, and the day itself).
- Creating and sometimes installing wedding and event flowers, as part of a team.
- Being up to date with floral and plant and sundries trends.
- Potentially, occasionally delivering items in our van (if delivery driver is unavailable or a florist is required).

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24/30 per week

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
