**Job Summary**:

- To provide a professional, proactive, customer focused coordination of all children’s social work panels which make decisions relating to children and families in Lambeth who are entering into care proceedings and in care proceedings.

**Sample of Key Duties/Accountabilities**:

- To coordinate the scheduling and administration required for the decision-making and tracking panels in Lambeth including but not limited to the Pre-Proceedings Panel, Legal Gateway Panel and Court CMO Tracking Panel.
- Managing panel attendance including social work practitioners and managers who are due to attend to present.
- To prepare data, updates and agendas for panels according to each’s terms of reference or to the direction of the panel chair.
- To maintain and manage data trackers relating to each panel ensuring records are kept up-to-date and panel members review accurate and relevant records.
- To liaise with social work practitioners who are presenting at panels, providing timely communication, briefing and chasing outstanding documents.
- To circulate advance agendas and relevant documents to panel members.
- To minute all panel meetings including capturing a record of actions and decisions for follow-up. To circulate or upload minutes to the relevant storage place within timescale.
- To provide broad support to the service as required, duties may include mailbox management, inputting, storing and archiving of data, meeting arrangements, caseload management and note-taking.

**Essential Experience Required**:

- Ability to provide efficient and effective administrative support.
Excellent word processing skills and able to compose correspondence on standard issues.
- Familiar with the duties and responsibilities of Children’s Social Care.
