Cleaning Supervisor

The Helping Hands Group is looking for a new **Cleaning Supervisor** for our growing, dynamic operations team**.** The Supervisor will clean as part of the team but will oversee the cleaning operations to ensure our high standards are maintained.
The working hours vary but jobs start from approx 6am Monday - Friday.
Occasional pre-organised weekend work may be required.
**We arrange the collection and drop offs of all staff in and around Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington, Great Harwood, Mellor and surrounding areas.**
There is opportunities for progression throughout all areas of the business, who meet the essential criteria below:
- Have excellent time keeping skills for early starts (5am pick ups for some teams).
- Willing, Enthusiastic, Hardworking and Reliable.
- Flexible and available to work as required. (Early starts or late finishes as necessary)
- Able to get to pick up points in the local area to join their teams. (Ask for more info if required)
- Able to lead and work as part of a team.
- Have experience working within the cleaning sector.
- Have experience managing staff.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- To ensure a professional approach to Supervisor tasks reflecting the Helping Hands ethos at all times.
- To clean and work as part of the team and to ensure team members are deployed efficiently and are working to their full potential and managing time effectively.
- To continually train and encourage your team. Ensure that they receive professional feedback to progress their development.
- To ensure that all team members are up to date in the use of products.
- To ensure a customer focused approach to all client related issues in line with the Helping Hands ethos.
- To take a proactive approach, focusing on solutions, to everyday issues. Seek guidance from admin should you deem it necessary.
- To ensure that during the course of each day, as per the rota, the supervisor returns to the office and carries out a full hand over with the Admin team.
- To communicate with other supervisors and line managers, as required or as directed, during each day.
- To ensure that the supervisor task sheet is managed and all tasks completed as required by Management.
- To drive/manage the drivers, of Helping Hands vehicles as required by management ensuring time efficiency between jobs.
To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with both the cleaning staff and clients. Attention to detail is essential as you will be responsible for maintaining quality control and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. Additionally, knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices is required to ensure that our facilities are cleaned to the highest standards.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
