**Job Overview**
We are looking for friendly and professional Wedding Bar Staff to join our team at Thirsk Lodge Barns on a casual basis. This hands-on, guest-facing role is perfect for someone who enjoys delivering excellent hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for wedding guests. You will play a key role in ensuring drinks service runs smoothly and guests have a memorable experience.

**Duties**:

- Serve drinks to a high standard with speed and accuracy.
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented bar area throughout events.
- Restock drinks, glassware, and bar supplies as needed.
- Assist with bar setup before events and pack-down afterward.
- Support colleagues during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow Challenge 25 and licensing procedures, as well as health & safety standards.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.

- Friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced events environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional weekdays.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to commute to a rural location (own transport preferred).

**Desirable**:

- Previous bar, hospitality, or events experience.
- Knowledge of bar operations, hygiene, and basic licensing requirements.
- Experience working at weddings or private functions.
