Our client is a globally recognised brand who manufacture and supply into the automotive sector. They are now seeking a suitably qualified (or part-qualified/active studier), Accountant, to join their finance team in Leamington Spa.

Ideally, you will be part/full qualified in either ACA or ACCA with proven industry experience within a global/pan-European business. The role will be supporting the UK Financial Controller with preparing month end accounts for the group, analysis of monthlyresults and all other associated tasks as detailed below.

This position would suit a communicative team-player, who is looking to continue their career with a global business, who could offer further development opportunities and a long-term career.

**Key duties & responsibilities;**
- Preparation of month end accounts in accordance with the company's accounting policies.
- Review and analysis of monthly results to ensure that all accounting entries are correct.
- Prepare month end journals and supporting other non-finance departments with the monthly closing of accounts.
- Lead on the balance sheet reconciliations with assistance from other departments, ensuring that all ledgers are reconciled, variances investigated and rectified in a timely manner, for the Financial Controller to review.
- Provide ongoing support to the finance team on all reporting matters, in particular revenue recognition.
- Ensure the continuous implementation of correct accounting policies and process.
- Provide necessary information to external auditors as required.

Key requirements;
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified but actively looking to complete.
- Experienced in working in a busy finance department, within an international organisation.
- Good team player, able to translate complex financial information to non-finance personnel and build strong working relationships across a multi-site organisation.
- Very good general IT skills, including MS Office. Some experience of using SAP is beneficial but not a pre-requisite for this position.
- Experience in working for a manufacturing company would be ideal.

In return, my client is offering a competitive base salary plus benefits and a 'hybrid' working pattern of 2 days working in the office and 3 days working from home. All required IT equipment will be provided to enable this.
