We're seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a dynamic and growing contract business that provides services across the UK.

The Role

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in providing insightful financial analysis and strategic support to operational leaders. You will help drive business performance, improve cost control, and support decision-making through robust financial reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Partner with operational teams to analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver detailed variance analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support commercial tenders, pricing models, and margin analysis.
  • Assist in the development of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the finance team.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with strong post-qualification experience.
  • Previous experience within contract services, hospitality, or facilities management preferred.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Confident communicator able to build relationships across finance and operations.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
