**About the Role**
In this role, you will:
- Provide trauma-informed support and safety planning to victims and survivors of domestic abuse, particularly those in emergency or temporary accommodation.
- Work in partnership with housing teams and other agencies to secure safe housing and advocate for clients’ rights and wellbeing.
- Support individuals fleeing abuse with advice on housing, benefits, and legal protections, including referrals to specialist services.
- Manage a small caseload and ensure smooth transitions to longer-term community support.
- Liaise with multi-agency partners and contribute to MARAC, MATAC, and MAPPA processes to manage and escalate risk appropriately.
- Make referrals for target hardening and help clients remain safely in their homes where appropriate.
- Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all communities, including those who are underrepresented or marginalised.
