**What will the role be like?**

At Simpkins Edwards, accountancy isn't just about numbers; it's about building relationships. If you're interested in joining our close-knit team, where you can learn the intricacies of accountancy while earning, we can't wait to hear from you.

Under the direction of our friendly and experienced team, our award-winning Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) apprenticeship will aim to give you the best of starts to your accounting career.

Your training will cover a wide range of accounting and tax work, including the preparation of quarterly management accounts and preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. You will also gain experience in various aspects of tax, such as the compilation of tax computations, preparing corporation tax returns, self-assessment tax returns plus preparation of VAT returns.

Combining off site training, by way of day release at a local training provider, alongside hands
- on guidance provided by experienced professionals, we are committed to your future with us.

**How do I apply?**

Applicants must hold a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Language, as this serves as a prerequisite for progressing with the AAT qualification.
