Apprentice Surveyor

**About this role**
You will work with the whole team to learn about property and to grow your experience on your path to becoming a Chartered Surveyor and learning how to deliver property services to corporate occupier clients.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Inspections and site visits, disposals and acquisitions, lease and tenant management, lease renewals and rent reviews, valuations, property management, mapping, GIS and preparation of legal plans, property deeds and data management, property admin, client and Account Management and client meetings.
In the first instance you will be assisting the fee earners of the team, going on-site inspections, reviewing leases and recording all information, setting up clients on IT systems and much more. It’s an important role to have as it allows those fee earners to spend more time providing an excellent service to the clients.
As your apprenticeship progresses you will have the ability to prioritise and work with minimum supervision and eventually become a fee earner yourself contributing to the wider team.
You will meet and build working relationships with clients understanding their needs and earning their trust. You will need to be confident and communicate well with everyone you meet.
As you start to make your connections within Savills and other companies you also have the ability to develop new clients.

Peterborough Occupier Services is a friendly team of 6 surveyors and 9 administrators focused on providing excellent service to meet the requirement of our corporate clients. Our principle clients include Anglian Water, OCS, British Airways and Urban & Civic, to whom we provide a wide range of estate and property management services, providing plenty of opportunity for an Apprentice to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor.
We also work closely with our national and international Occupier Services teams based in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Wimborne. This includes other graduates and apprentices and presents numerous opportunities to work together.

The team need inquisitive and positive people that have strong ideas and opinions and will expect you to come up with innovative solutions to challenges you might have along the way. You will add a fresh take to the team and one that is valued.
Not only within the team but in the wider Savills you have the ability to make an impact with Graduate/Apprentice groups such as the Charity committee, Apprentice committee and the Instagrad Board. These are ways to give back to communities as well as promoting apprenticeships within the industry as a whole attracting new talent.
Good communication and organisational skills are vital to succeed as an Apprentice. You will need the ability to manage a varied workload working as part of a team while also having the ability to use your own initiative, and be passionate about delivering the best service possible for your team and clients
English and Maths GCSE grade 4 and above is a mandatory requirement.
**Training**
5 year training programme (Level 6 Apprenticeship), which includes a part time undergraduate degree (3 years) and an APC training programme (2 years, enrolled in year 4) leading to become a Chartered Surveyor with an RICS qualification.
On the job training is provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the 5 year apprenticeship to qualify successfully.
