We are currently working with an SENSchool in Horsham who are looking for full time Teaching Assistants to join their team. They are looking for staff with passionate, dedicated and pro-active individuals who have a knowledge of SEN or a keen interestin working in the sector.

We are open to applicants who have the following experience/skills:

- Care and/or support work, supporting individuals with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
- Previous classroom experience, voluntary or paid work
- Personal experience of SEN e.g. Supporting a friend or family member
- Experience working with children in holiday clubs/nurseries/childcare environments
- Sports coaches, activity instructors and children's entertainers
- Foster carers/social workers

Expectations of the role:

- To support pupils both academically and emotionally
- engaging with pupils and building strong relationships to assist them throughout the school day
- To be calm and professional at all times, following school behaviour policies and safeguarding guidelines (safeguarding training provided free of charge from Teaching Personnel)
- To be reliable and consistent with good time management
- To form good relationships with other staff members in order to provide the best support for the pupils
- To be flexible and hardworking with the ability to follow instructions from the class teacher effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
