**12hr Shifts 3on 3off Days & Nights**
**Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer, that has seen a great amount of investment into the site and a recent new production line installed. Due to their continued growth and further expansion plans, they are looking for a multi-skilled shiftmaintenance engineer, electrically biased.**

**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Carry out both preventative and planned maintenance, both electrically & mechanically
- Working on high-speed production, packaging and automated machinery
- Dealing with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, sensors, electrical isolation, inverters, pneumatics, servo drives, control panels, pumps, compressors,
- PLC - electrical fault finding
- SCADA Systems, automation & HMi's - electrical fault finding
- Continuous improvement projects and new machinery installations and modification work
- Prioritise workload to maximise efficiency of production lines, whilst monitoring data
- Identify faulty equipment and rectify problems by following OEM manuals and detailed drawings
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:
- Must be a multi-skilled engineer, electrically biased
- Qualified to HNC level in electrical engineering
- Must have worked in high-speed production - food, FMCG manufacturing environments
- Completed a time-served apprenticeship
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an engineer in manufacturing
- PLC & SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding
- Beneficial to have 17th or 18th Edition Electrical
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding, troubleshooting & diagnostics skills
- Strong team player with a continuous improvement approach
- A good level of mechanical skills - dealing with pipework, gearboxes, drives, pumps, etc.
- Able to follow OEM manual, detailed drawings and engineering schematics
- Have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a pressurised environment effectively
- Comfortable and confident with sometimes working on your own initiative on shift
- Knowledge in the use of maintenance systems, PPM's, SAP
- Strong IT skills - using computer systems, ordering parts etc.
