**Location: Poole, Dorset**:
**Working Hours: Full-time (including 2 half-days on a Saturday and Sunday once per 4-week rota)**:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Scheduler to help drive our procurement strategy for the Poole site. The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating with the Planning and Procurement departments to ensure the timely ordering of all raw materials, packaging, and equipment required for site operations at Poole. This role also oversees key administrative tasks, including the communication of daily plans across the site, ensuring efficient production workflows.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Order Management**:

- Liaise with Procurement to place orders for raw materials, packaging, and equipment.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained in line with production requirements.
- Monitor order statuses and resolve any supply chain issues that may impact production.
- **Planning & Coordination**:

- Work closely with the Planning department to align schedules with production needs.
- Communicate daily production and scheduling plans across Unit P and Unit Q. including site Service Levels both customers and suppliers.
- Support in updating and adjusting schedules based on demand changes or unforeseen challenges.
- **Administration & Communication**:

- Distribute daily and weekly production schedules to relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery schedules, and production timelines.
- Assist in reporting and data entry related to planning and procurement activities.
- **Operational Support**:

- Act as a key point of contact between departments to ensure smooth coordination.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and proactively work on solutions, such as working with despatch for booking in times, coordination.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency.
- **Weekend Coverage (Rotational)**:

- Work 2 half-days on a Saturday and Sunday as part of a 4-week rota.
- Ensure weekend planning and supply chain operations run smoothly.

**Key Skills & Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in scheduling, planning, or procurement within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and relevant planning software.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in the food industry or FMCG sector is desirable but not essential.
