(New Vacancy) - MOTOR CLAIMS HANDLER
Permanent
Salary - competitive + benefits package
Monday to Friday; 9:00 to 5:30
Hybrid Working - 2 days office based close to Tower Bridge (SE1) and 3 working remotely.
Duties & responsibilities
1 Handling third party motor and recovery claims (including injury & credit hire) from notification through to settlement
2 Administer claims and report to overseas offices and insurers, taking part in presentations when required
3 Investigate and monitor developments on all claims
4 Investigate all claims for possible fraud
5 Liaising with and reporting to our overseas insurer clients.
Skills & experience
- At least 2 years motor claims handling experience
- An excellent communicator across all levels
- Great organisational and co-ordination skills
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Sound numerical skills
- Strong negotiation skills
You will be joining a small, friendly but highly motivated, multilingual claims management team. Our client acts as the UK agent of a large number of motor insurers throughout Europe handling claims arising from road accidents in the UK and in Europe.
