In this core Risk and Insurance role you will bring your risk and controls experience to work with the Group Risk team in ensuring that management have a clear and current view of the key business and programme/project risks the organisation faces.Thisrole will have a core focus on my clients Risk management Framework, actively supporting the Risk Business partners in running risk workshops, training colleagues on the use of risk systems and developing and delivering insightful risk management information.Youwill also have a key role in the management of my clients insurance portfolio and insurance claims. You will undertake day to day insurance tasks such as managing policy cover, making payments, and managing claims and queries that come into the Insurance mailbox.Typicalduties include:As a core member of the Group Risk & Insurance team, you will be expected to take full responsibility for the allowing principal accountabilities:Risk Management: Working Group-wide in an efficient Business Partnering capacity, running riskworkshops and helping the business to use CAMMS to document risks and controls. Displaying sound commercial awareness to support Management in identifying emerging risks. Providing first class risk and controls guidance in line with the level of independencerequired from this core 2nd line function. Supporting the business to identify emerging risks and developing control strategies that will satisfy audit and compliance/ regulatory requirements. Using strong influencing skills to ensure risks are graded consistently.Understands the link between risk, assurance and the '3 lines' model in order to act as a 2nd line liaison between the business and the Internal Audit team. Able to balance independence and feedback with strong Business Partnering support.Insurance: Supportingthe Risk & Insurance Business Partner, undertaking essential insurance support activity and provide insurance cover and resilience within the team. Building strong relationships with a large number of external underwriters and solicitors. Support the teamin developing and presenting high quality insurance management information What my client are looking for: Qualified Auditor, Accountant or Risk Management professional. Excellent communication skills. Strong team player with a desire to ensure that the teamis resilient and continuously improves. Experience of the practical application of risk and control strategies or auditing controls. Ability to communicate effectively, instil credibility and develop innovative ways of working as a 2nd line business supportfunction
