Simon Dean are looking to recruit a Building Apprentice / Trainee for a permanent role to support our building and civils team.

Work environments include industrial estates, offices, railway stations and ports where a safe working nature is essential.

Typical Projects:

- Ground works for electrical ducting.
- Lighting column installations.
- Industrial building repairs and maintenance.
- Small scale construction projects.
- Installation of security doors.
- Plumbing installations to site cabins.
- Supporting Electrical projects and cable pulls.

**Duties**:

- Ensure safe working practices are carried out including wearing and using the correct PPE.
- Willingness to learn about full variety of building techniques and skills.
- Work towards a quality finish where the job is complete.

**Experience**:

- Experience working in a construction / engineering environment beneficial.
- Experience utilising hand tools and power tools. (Breaker, Stihl Saw, CAT Scanner, SDS)
- Experience operating plant and machinery beneficial. (360 Excavator, Dumper, Telehandler, Cherrypicker)

Qualifications expected to work towards (company funded):

- CSCS Card
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma Groundwork and General Construction

At our company, we provide comprehensive training and mentorship to help you develop your building and construction skills. As a Building Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and gain valuable hands-on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £10.00-£14.00 per hour
