**About The Role**: We're looking for individuals who can advocate improving the quality throughout our development process and encourage continuous improvement to ways of working **Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing**: You'll coach, manage, and mentor several people in your team. Identifying improvements and initiatives across the team including Agile development practices including but not restricted to: Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP, CDEP, and DevOps. Embedding Design practices, processes, and systems to enable your team to work as effectively as possible, while at the same time helping deliver within a team by taking responsibility for ensuring that software fulfils the business requirements by building cutting-edge and complex test automation solutions from scratch using a variety of tools that best fit the job You’ll be working with a range of people from across our product teams, driving the departmental vision and where testing plays a central role. We want your input on the team process and ways of working, collectively setting the team’s objectives. **A Few Things About You**: - Experienced in leading a transformational change within a tech organisation - Mentoring and coaching team members to improve their craft - Exposure to introducing and implementing shift-left quality-enhancing practices - Hands-on knowledge of building and maintaining automation frameworks - Experience in developing an organisational QA strategy **A Bit About Us**: At AO, we want to make sure our customers are happy.
