We support a whole school/college approach to improving mental health and wellbeing. We also provide psychological therapies to children and families with multiple and complex needs.
You will share our service vision and organisation values for understanding and meeting the different needs of individuals, families, and communities across Teesside. We are a strong and well-established team, who are supportive and friendly. Our ethos is ensuring we provide support for our staff, including their development as we grow our service.

You will work alongside our Mental Health Support Team delivering evidence based interventions to children, young people, parents & carers in an educational/community setting who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services. You will also be responsible for supporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify and where appropriate manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing. You will workat various schools and locations across Stockton and Hartlepool, where multiple venues may be visited each day. Access to a car is therefore essential for this post as some locations are not easily accessed via bus.

Commissioned through the Tees Valley CCGs and overseen through the Mental Health & Learning Disability Partnership we lead both on the delivery of IMPACTon Teesside and the Hartlepool and Stockton National Trailblazer for Mental Health Support Teams. We do this through our commitments to working collaboratively with partners, including third sector organisations, local authorities, educational settings and other health and social care providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for those who need our support.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
**Therapeutic practice**
Deliver a range of outcome focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings to children, young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
Undertake and complete assessments including accurate assessment of risk to self and others.
Supporting children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their families and educators in the self-management of presenting difficulties.
Working in partnership with children, young people, their families, and educators in the development of treatment plans for specific interventions.
Demonstrate an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity.
Identify/accept appropriate referrals for children and young people in educational settings, according to agreed treatment pathways, processes, and procedures.
Adhere to the policies and protocols within Alliance and the educational service to which the postholder is attached.
Have knowledge and understanding of the local services and be able to signpost children and young
