**Service Charge Accountant based at Epworth House, Derby** **Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week** An exciting opportunity has a risen for a Service Charge accountant to join our team. The primary purpose of this role will be to encompass the annual preparation of service charge statements, maintenance of service charge data, preparation of year end accountsand budgets for leasehold schemes and ensuring that all service charge reports are reviewed, completed and sent out in a timely manner. Secondly, the Service Charge Accountant will provide help in preparation of Management Accounts and will help prepare and maintain accounts with particular reference to Retirement Living. Duties include but are not limited to: Provide financial expertise and support on all leasehold service charge information. Develop, collate and maintain accurate and appropriate leasehold and other housing accounting records. Produce Service Charge Statement of Actuals for leaseholders within pre-determined timeframes. Assist in production of annual budgets for leasehold and housing schemes and present them to Management and Leaseholders meetings as appropriate. Provide support for the production of monthly management information for housing and leasehold schemes. For more about the job description please click here.
