We are looking for **Senior Collections agents** to join our ambitious, award winning team incentral Manchester.
**About the role**
As a Collections agent, primarily you will communicate with our customers who are in arrears, whether that’s via telephone call or on occasion via written correspondence.
You will strive to ensure that our customers receive a professional, compliant journey using your excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
In addition, we look for people with great work ethics, the ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively at all levels.
Within a regulated environment and fast paced department there are of course service levels, KPIs and targets to be met - all geared to meet our customers expectations whilst achieving the business goals.
**What else will you be doing?**:

- Setting appropriate, sustainable and complaint repayment arrangements
- Addressing failed arrangements in an appropriate and timely manner
- Addressing changes in customers circumstances, in line with company policy
- Liaising with other departments to ensure the customer receives the correct outcome to collections issues raised
- Adhering to the rules and guidelines as set out by the company and its regulators (FCA/ICO/FLA)
- Address and raise any risks identified throughout the course of the role and in line with company policy
- To assist in projects/mini initiatives within the collections function as advised by line manager
- Adhere to KPI's set by the business
- Understand and adhere to departmental Service Levels (SLA)
- General administration duties

**Who are we looking for in a Collections Agent?**:

- **Anyone with collections experience within a regulated environment would be perfect for this role**:

- Asset/Car finance experience would be a huge advantage
- Consumer Finance desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills (Oral, written, numeracy)
- IT literate with experience of using Word, Excel.
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
- Be able to recognise and deal with customers sensitive circumstances and ensure the appropriate actions is taken
- Ability to prioritise work loads, be organised and efficient
- Be able to integrate within a team and also work on your own initiative
- Good timekeeping

**What you will receive**
Basic salary of £25,000 - £28,000 p/a
**Hours**
Office hours - 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm Saturdays
Part-time hours have some flexibility; at your interview, please feel free to talk about the hours that would suit you best.
