**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Contact clients via phone to discuss outstanding debts and payment arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in our accounting software.
- Analyse account information to identify trends and develop effective collection strategies.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate billing.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette while handling sensitive financial discussions.
- Conduct data entry tasks related to client accounts and payment histories.
- Follow up on payment commitments and negotiate repayment plans when necessary.
- Prepare reports on collection activities and account statuses for management review.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in financial services or telemarketing is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes is advantageous.
- Proficient in using accounting software for data management and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills to assess account information effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
