**Job: Risk Management Specialist, Operations**

**Location: Uxbridge**

**Salary: £33,000 - £37,850**

**Length of Temporary Booking: 12 months**

**Main Responsibilities**:
Our prestigious client is currently seeking a Risk Management Specialist. Under the direction of your Manager you will provide routine daily management and support for the electronic Risk Management system(s) which constitute the operational aspects of theUK Pregnancy Prevention Programme (PPP), the regulatory mandated risk minimisation programme in the UK. You will provide support to the Associate Manager and can serve as a delegate of the Associate Manager. However, all activities must be approved and supervisedby the Associate Manager. The incumbent does not have any line management responsibilities. This role is also responsible for contributing to customer support for the eRMP system ensuring strong external user compliance and consistently excellent customerexperience whilst ensuring strict adherence to all applicable requirements ensuring continuous audit and inspection readiness.

High level responsibilities include:

- Receipt of Prescription Authorisation Forms (PAFs) in accordance with procedures for the purposes of the UK PPP.
- Telephone follow up of PAFs.
- Supporting the Associate Manager Risk Management by providing supervised assistance to a third-party vendor of the Risk Management Operations team for eRMP data processing activities
- Collaborating with the Associate Manager Risk Management in order to train the third party-vendor and new personnel
- Provision of customer support to healthcare professionals for the operational UK PPP.
- Supporting operational compliance activities for the UK PPP.

**Skills and Knowledge Requirements**
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with demonstrated efficiency and organisational skills
- Good process mindset and process development/documentation skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Some knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong fluency in written and spoken English
- Adaptability and the ability to deal with a pressurised environment
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to take the initiative
- Good computer skills; good knowledge of Word and Outlook; high competency in working with Excel is desirable
- Undergraduate degree (life sciences is desirable, but not essential)
- Previous Pharmaceutical experience is desirable (within Drug Safety, Risk Management, Medical, Quality & Compliance, Regulatory or Audit).
- Operations and customer service experience are desirable
- Good understanding of database systems and related IT terminology is desirable
- Good presentation skills are desirable
