**Client Details**

The client is a vibrant and dynamic marketing company based in Broxbourne, who are seeking a talented and experienced Management Accountant to join their team.

The Group finance team has a wide remit, with responsibility for a number of critical business processes including internal and external reporting, management of the Group head office, overseeing the budgeting and forecasting cycles, maintaining proper systemsof financial control and the ownership and development of key reporting and accounting systems.

The role is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern Group finance function, and to gain experience in a broad range of finance and commercial activities. It is best suited to an ambitious individual who has the motivation to make a difference in a growingteam, and the ambition to learn new skills.

**Description**

As **Management Accountant**, your responsibilities are:

- Develop and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Work with finance counterparts and departmental heads to build and maintain detailed budgets and forecasts for the department
- Day to day accounting for head office, including preparation of journal postings as required
- Work with internal finance teams to prepare departmental monthly result and prepare analysis versus budget
- Participate in monthly overhead reviews with departmental budget holders providing insight and recommendations
- Support the finance manager in the co-ordination of the annual budget process and quarterly reforecasting cycles
- Participate in the review process for budget submissions
- Weekly cashflow forecasting for the Group cost centre and monitoring of cash requirements across the wider business
- Preparation of weekly flash P&L report
- Proactively monitor performance against finance KPIs and report against these requirements

**Profile**

The perfect **Management Accountant**will have:

- Interest in obtaining or continuing training for a recognised professional finance qualification
- Attention to detail and analytical skills. Accustomed to working with and interpreting data
- Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Proven time management skills: Accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines
- Demonstrates a resilient and flexible working style. Accustomed to problem solving
- IT skills - proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
