**Salary**: £24,500
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday office hours
We are looking for a Buyer Assistant who has an understanding of procurement, who is confident in engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, and most of all who is driven to provide the best experience for our customers and is passionate about delivering value to the NHS to join our Tower 1 team.

**What will you be doing?**
You'll be working within the fastest growing medical device procurement organisation in the UK. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll ensure that the NHS benefit from receiving the best medical devices at the lowest cost, guaranteeing that people like you and us have access to the latest and best performing technology available.
- To manage the NHS market category for equipment maintenance contracts specifically Supplier Relationship Management, Tendering Activity and projects
- Responsible for managing an allocated number of customer projects to deliver results, drive savings and improved service for customers
- Produce quotes and actively engage with customers to close down quotes if not required and inform suppliers
- Support with the development of Sourcing Strategies and delivery of tender in line with Intenda timescales
- The education of supplier base in relation to the process for renewals and new business maintenance contracts, renewals operations planning, new business take on, support delivery of sales, income targets and savings
- To work closely with customers and suppliers to provide alternative proposals on maintenance spend
