Finance Systems Manager

We are looking for a Finance Systems Manager to join our team on a maternity cover.
As a member of the group finance team, this role supports all colleagues via the development and maintenance of various systems used in the finance function, the creation of reports using the most appropriate sources and the analysis of data.
**What you’ll do as Finance Systems Manager**:
- General Systems
- Ensure colleague access to all systems is appropriate
- Ensure all Master Data is accurate
- Jointly responsible for the triage of all general system queries raised by the wider team and ensuring a timely resolution
- Ensure system configuration is optimised for the business processes in operation
- Help to manage the day-to-day output of the Finance Systems Admin Team
- Management responsibility for an Assistant Finance System Administrator, providing training, guidance, and oversight
- Provide report writing support to wider finance using OTBI and BI Publisher
- Ensure inbound and outbound interfaces are monitored and errors addressed
- Evaluate and develop new ways of working and business process changes to fulfil the department’s aim of continuous business improvement
- Help with the development of new interfaces to improve efficiency
- Evaluate quarterly updates for useful changes that could be implemented
- Liaise with the IT department to ensure every system used is maintained appropriately
**Experience we are looking for in a Finance Systems Manager**:
- Oracle Cloud Financials experience as an administrator is essential.
- Have a good working knowledge of the following Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Tax, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Procurement
- Provide Admin support and help address queries with the following:
- Bottomline (BACS processing intermediary)
- Concur (Employee expense payments)
- IBM Planning and Analytics (Data analysis and reporting tool)
- HSBC Direct (Banking services)
