T2M Resourcing are delighted to be recruiting this key role, Head of Financial Reporting for an international market leading company. This is a high profile role in an international business and as Head of Financial Reporting you will be the key custodianof the financial and business information.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and leading a highly professional Consolidation Reporting Team your remit will include:
Lead the Reporting team to:

- Deliver consolidated weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business information and financial data to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure data integrity within operating unit data submissions including identifying and investigating variances in divisional data submitted to head office
- Support divisional finance teams to ensure consistency in the interpretation of the company policies and reporting requirements

Directly responsible for:

- Developing accounting policies in line with evolving business requirements
- Continuously review business processes within the Reporting team to further add value and reduce reporting timelines to enhance efficiency
- The resourcing, development (including operational visits) and cost control of the Reporting team
- Being the point of contact for technical accounting and reporting queries and reviewing new developments in IFRS and related regulatory frameworks to assess the impact on the business.
- Working with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit of the consolidation process, including ensuring that their queries get dealt with promptly
- Supporting wider Finance and Head Office work including ad hoc project support and financial modelling and budgeting process.

**To be successful as Head of Financial Reporting you will be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes**:

- Significant post qualified experience (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) working in a Group Accounting function of a multi-national business
- Excellent technical accounting skills (IFRS) including complex group consolidations with a high level of awareness of IFRS and UK GAAP, including cash flow reporting, non
- GAAP measures, impairment assessment, acquisition accounting, forex consolidationaccounting and new accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - able to identify and resolve problems
- Passionate about continuous improvement and a 'positive change' agent
- Great interpersonal skills - the role requires relationship management across the business and with external stakeholders
- Experience of managing and developing a small but highly skilled team
