As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of core financial operations and controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidence in reporting across multiple legal entities. This is a hands-on role in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and wants to make a real impact. You will report initially to the Head of Finance and work closely with senior leadership. For the right person, there is a clear path to Head of Finance in the future. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of financial control, including: Management accounting, statutory reporting, and consolidations Cash management, AP/AR oversight, and balance sheet integrity Tax compliance, transfer pricing, and audit coordination Implement and optimise financial systems and controls, including NetSuite rollout Ensure robust processes for multi-entity accounting in a complex, international retail environment Provide confidence in financial reporting to senior leadership and external stakeholders Mentor and develop the finance team as transactional processes evolve A bit about you.... Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Minimum 2-3 years as a Financial Controller in a reasonably complex business Experience in consumer goods/retail and fast-paced environments Strong technical knowledge of financial controls, statutory reporting, and tax Proven ability to implement systems and drive process improvements Detail-oriented, stickler for compliance, and thrives under pressure Leadership qualities with potential to progress to Head of Finance Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders Financial Controller - Didcot (4 days on site) - £75,000 to £85,000
