?THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners have partnered with a leading Alternatives Investment Management firm that is looking to bring on a Portfolio Modelling Director to work directly with the Managing Director in growing the Real Assets portfolio management function. The businessis going through significant growth across the UK and Europe. This position will hold pivotal responsibilities as it will be working directly with the investment function and C-Suite.

THE ROLE:
The role will be responsible for working closely with the senior leadership in the Portfolio Modelling division of Real Estate. The primary role is to support the management of client portfolios within the Portfolio Management team by creating and implementingmodelling tools. The position will involve various activities for multiple clients from the day-to-day operations of existing investment platforms to supporting the formulation of strategy for new and existing vehicles.
- Supports portfolio modelling, performance measurement, and transaction execution
- Design and build bespoke financial models
- Prepare cash flow forecasts for investor reporting and in response to investor inquiries
- Track and manage fund liquidity
- Support analysis by providing fund-level returns
- Determine fund performance and investor returns for internal and external reporting
- Monitor debt compliance at fund and asset levels

THE REQUIREMENTS:

- 5 - 7 years of work experience in a commercial real estate investment, finance, or research function
- Qualified accountant is beneficial but not a requirement
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Ability to build complex bespoke financial models from scratch
- Strong communication, listening and organizational skills
- Strong report writing skills/presentation skill
- Writing samples requested
- Self-starter and team player who embraces collaboration
