As **Web and Digital Development Manager** you will manage the digital roadmap as well as day to day support of a varied portfolio of digital platforms including AIS digital communications channels, website development and operational web-basedinterfaces to ensure AIS is optimises every opportunity digital transformation can provide.
**Key responsibilities as ourWeb and Digital Development Manager**:
- Working with the Director of Marketing and Director of IT to develop a web and digital strategy and manage the delivery roadmap
- Project management responsibilities for project staff, such as developers, business analysts or user experience specialists in order to achieve business objectives.
- Project managing delivery through a build and release cycle of our websites ensuring the web platforms are technically optimised for SEO to maximise visibility in the search engines.
- Managing the development of the new CMS, and Retailer Hub platform to ensure that it meets the needs of the business and its users in terms of functionality, usability and scalability.
- Being responsible for the integrity of the web technology including security, site speed and tracking as well ensuring the online presence is accurate, accessible and interactive within all legal framework including data protection, accessibility, CMA complianceand copyright.
- Leading contact for web development agencies, working with them to deliver the roadmap to agreed timescales and budget
- Creating and overseeing the procedures and processes for the delivery of automated publishing product and show information publications.
- Overseeing the legacy strategy for web and digital communication platforms.
- Overseeing relationships with external suppliers / third party agencies (Marketing and IT) including sourcing and procurement.
**What we’re looking for in ourWeb and Digital Development Manager**:
- Minimum 3+ years in web development / digital projects.
- Ideally qualified or well-versed in an industry project management qualification (PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, Waterfall etc.).
- Experience of managing CMS based websites, including Microsoft Azure and Sharepoint.
- Experience of working on Web projects from strategy, user experience, build, test and deployment creating and delivering a technical roadmap.
- Experience of CRM platforms.
- Ability to write functional and technical specs, creating site maps and process flows.
- Ability to pro-actively identify issues and risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Supplier and partner management being the key liaison to external vendors related to all site development activities for the business, including website enhancements and other activities.
- Experience with office software such as Excel; and PM software such Smartsheets, JIRA, Trello etc
- Excellent communication skills both externally and at all levels in the company, both written and verbal
- Ability to create and present high-quality documentation & management information.
- Ability to strike the balance between technical solutions, cost/effort and business requirements.
