**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other facilities systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to identify issues.
- Handle general repairs including painting, carpentry, and minor construction tasks.
- Replace light bulbs, air filters, and other building components as needed.
- Ensure all safety equipment is functioning properly and address any hazardous conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff, and address emergency repair situations as they arise.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a maintenance or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and report issues.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Availability to respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed (may on occasion involve evenings or weekends).

**Preferred**:

- Experience with HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Certification in maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, or related fields.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
