Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take over the leadership of an established and valued systemic family psychotherapy and family intervention service, which is embedded in adult community mental health services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with the experience to lead the ongoing development and improvement of family work in mental health services, as well as contributing to wider division and trust initiatives. There are opportunities to work alongside other Family Therapists to cultivate a family-inclusive culture, including contributing to the development and delivery of the Trust’s AFT accredited systemic family therapy training.

You will be leading on the provision of Family Therapy for clients and families with a range of severe and complex psychological presentations, as part of a multi-disciplinary approach. You will also provide professional leadership for other clinicians who are delivering Family Therapy and Family Interventions and will have responsibility for the day to day line management of a Band 7 Family Therapist.

The role also includes supervision, consultation, and training to clinicians from a range of disciplines, teams, and professional networks to enable them to work more effectively with clients and their families. Within this, you will contribute specialist knowledge and skills to assessment, care planning, treatment and review processes within the multi-disciplinary team.
