As a result of their tremendous growth an opportunity has arisen for an account manager to focus specifically on their Student Assistance Programme proposition. You will be managing a contract portfolio of universities and further education clients via face-to-face,video and telephonic meetings. Customer satisfaction and retention is a priority. As an account manager you will be responsible for your own portfolio of around £1m annual revenue, developing and nurturing your accounts to ensure client understanding, support with promotion through effective client communications while identifying furtherrevenue opportunities. Duties involve day to day management of your portfolio via review meetings, client events, negotiating renewal terms, providing excellent service levels, conducting face to face and telephonic review meetings, maintaining accurate clientCRM records and negotiating renewal pricing
- Managing a growing portfolio of circa 75 key further education clients geographically based all over the UK
- Be the internal champion for the SAP Product
- Liaising with and working closely with nominated representatives from leading insurance brokers.
- Project management and delivery of new client implementation, to ensure the Health Assured offering is fully imbedded.
- Attending external meetings and events.
- Supporting with tender exercises to represent the relationship management function.
- Renewal negotiations via intermediary and direct clients, showing return on investment for clients at all times.
- Delivery of consultancy services to clients regarding product options specialist service such as onsite training and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).
- Ensure we understand client needs and market changes, providing feedback to senior management in order to develop our proposition and remain ahead of the market.
- Maintain the highest standard of customer service and support to the sales and bid team.
- Carry out any other task as deemed necessary by the management team to support the relationship management function.
- Maintain personal statistical renewal reports on a daily basis, highlighting at risk clients and further opportunities.
- Providing weekly renewal and activity updates to Head of Relationship Management

**Desirable Skills and Competencies**
- Experience of working with universities and further education institutions.
- Account management experience
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar position
