You’ll be reporting directly into the Finance Manager and responsible for supporting the Brakes Depots across the central region Supply Chain division, with a key focus on effective operational delivery and high levels of business partnering with local depotmanagement This role will provide a first point of contact service for depot management teams for any finance related matters. Expect to be reviewing all costs associated with the depots including payroll, budgets and forecasts and review of service based KPIs. Thisis fantastic opportunity for someone who is working towards their finance qualifications or newly qualified looking to expand their career, on the job training will be provided, along with additional financial support to complete your qualifications, shouldthat apply. **Key Accountabilities** - Provision, analysis, and interpretation of weekly and monthly reports to enable Distribution Centre performance to be monitored and enhanced - Production of monthly management accounts and variance analysis - Provide weekly flash and monthly forecasts of depot costs and volumes in conjunction with depot General Manager - Ensure that local KPIs are reviewed with depot General Manager and their team, and that the Workday Planning system is updated on a weekly basis with KPI changes, in order to drive accurate weekly flash, monthly and quarterly forecasting and AOP submissions - Close liaison with the Depot management teams to help identify trends, CI opportunities, underperformance and such other issues as may enhance the performance and profitability of the business - Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures to deliver tight financial control - To identify and resolve errors and discrepancies. - To create, develop and maintain accounting spreadsheets used in the Finance function. You’ll be part or fully qualified with significant PQE (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and have experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment. Using your finance knowledge and experience you will provide a vital service and partner closely with the depot management teamon risk and continuous improvement, so you must be able to hold a strong conversation with sound analytical insight backing through strong communication and presentational skills. An advanced level of Microsoft Excel skills is essential. Knowledge of SAP wouldalso be advantageous.
