Accountancy Role:
An exciting and challenging Accountancy role has arisen, for someone in the Tamworth area, to join a revamped restorations company. We are a business who deliver a range of national services ranging from interior repairs and specialising in small commercial repair works. These services are facilitated by a highly dedicated and skilled team of tradesmen based throughout the UK and they are supported by our co-ordinators based in Drayton Bassett.
We are hoping to come across someone who has the necessary experience and can bring their expertise to the role.
Key Objectives and responsibilities
- To ensure the smooth running of the financial arm of the company
- Assist in a reliable and resilient management reporting system that the Directors can make accurately and timely decisions from
- Responsibility and assist in all functions of the purchase and sales ledger
- Excellent Xero software skills, will be considered the lead practitioner in the business
- Assisting the Finance Director in budgets, cash flow and other reports
- Responsible for MTD input for VAT
- Knowledge of CIS and subcontractor schemes
- Double Entry bookkeeping skills for Control Journals
- Working knowledge of Invoice Finance
Skills and knowledge
- Would suit AAT qualified or QBE
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high standards
- Excellent communication skills
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for ensuring the business is running as well as it possibly can, with smooth and efficient protocols which meet the expectation of the Directors.

Job Type - Full Time Monday to Friday, Contract and Permanent

25 days holidays per annum plus, statutory Bank Holidays
