New College Durham is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our Business Development team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our work, ensuring projects run smoothly, meet funding body requirements, and deliver real impact for learners and partners.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Providing high-quality administrative support, including preparing data for bids and tenders, producing reports (using Power BI and other software), and maintaining accurate project records.
- Supporting the set-up of systems and processes for new funding streams.
- Coordinating and minuting meetings, tracking actions, and ensuring progress is communicated and monitored effectively.
- Acting as a key point of contact for internal colleagues, external partners, and students, ensuring they receive timely and accurate information.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence in handling data, preparing reports, and using digital tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A flexible and proactive approach, with enthusiasm for learning new things and taking on varied tasks.
