OVERVIEW - PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK:
Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
**Salary**: £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Contract type: Permanent
Due to continued expansion and the implementation a new ERP system (COINS), this residential developer requires a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Commercial team on a permanent basis. To be considered for this role your CV must demonstrate recent experienceof working in the construction industry and the recent use of COINS ERP.
Purchase Ledger Clerk - Shrewsbury - COINS - Construction - Permanent
JOB DESCRIPTION - Purchase Ledger Clerk:
- End-to-end management of the Subcontractor Accounts Payable ledger
- Posting subcontractor invoices onto COINS
- Verifying subcontractors with HMRC
- Chasing subcontractors for up-to-date insurance information
- Entering subcontractor certificates
- Liaising with subcontractors to resolve queries
- Preparing and submitting monthly CIS return
- Preparing subcontractor payments
- Working within and supporting the Commercial team with subcontractor related matters and additional departmental workload
PERSON SPECIFICATION - Purchase Ledger Clerk:
- Recent Subcontractor Accounts Payable experience
- Recent use of COINS ERP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Methodical and able to prioritise work under pressure
- The ability and tenacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to attend the office in Shrewsbury 5 days a week
