**The Business Partner will support one of our client's most critical business units as part of a larger technology solutions service offering. You will be required to**:

- Provide guidance and support for the business in understanding how technology can support their needs
- Guide and support the business in identifying new & updated technology solutions
- Maintain a current understanding and awareness of trends and approaches taken externally
- Work with business leadership teams to help develop their vision, strategy, business model, operating model, and impacts to theirs or adjacent models
- Strategy - Understand the group strategy and how it affects design principles and alignment with the business unit strategy and execution.
- Represent that area knowing their strategic direction during Enterprise Planning

**Deliverables**:

- Operating Models / Business models - Contribute, review, and maintain the group current and target operating model artefacts (capabilities, blueprints, value chains, mega processes, design principles etc). Be accountable for creating target operating modelsfor the business with their artefacts.
- Set target health of their operating model and how they interact with other areas of the wider business
- To help define the desired goals from their business strategy and the wider strategic objectives
- To develop road map of logical activities to achieve these goals.
- Translating of business demand and needs into execution plans
- Undertake assessments of business ideas using appropriate methods and tools and within the agreed framework and principles e.g., using capability-based impact approach.
- Production and Maintenance of KPI demonstrating progress and alignment to the target operating models.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Good Understanding of current relevant Technology
- Knowledge of modern architectural methodologies & frameworks (i.e., agile)
- Senior stakeholder relationship management skills and broad external network
- Agile-digital product development expertise
- Translating of business demand and needs into execution plans
- Analytics skill - forward looking to identify needs, dependencies, and opportunities
- Good understanding of Data practices specifically AI & ML mechanisms
- Call centre experience would be highly attractive

**Experience**
- Track record of championing technology solutions that drive business growth in a highly regulated industry e.g., Financial Services, Insurance
- In-depth knowledge of digital capability, Lean working methodology for low margin customer service or contact centre clients
- Has been recognised as a trusted advisor to the business, lending strategic thinking that will co-create a clear future vision
- Have guided and supported the business in identifying how technology and operational capability can evolve to deliver on this vision
- Leadership and People Management skills used in leading teams in a matrix environment where change is the constant
